my boyfriend had shingles a while ago. went on medication for ages to clear it up but he now has white marks where they used to be on his stomach is there something he can do?

Those are scars from the shingles and they're probably in places he itched! I've got a few white scars from when I had chickenpox as a child. There isn't much you can do to my knowledge; but ask a dermatologist if you're concerned.
