I loved it!

Usually you should give birth control three months before you give up on it. I'd hang in there a little longer and see if things change for the better, and if it doesn't, you can think about switching to something else.

I used it but my experience doesn't really count. My body was messed up from a form I had before it and the ring just made more problems. I wouldn't mind trying it again once my body is settled down! I have a friend who loves it and has never had a problem. But remember all people react differently Smile

Moodswings!
I started on the ring because I could never remember to take my pills everyday so my GYN told me about the ring and how great it was. Well, she never mentioned any side effects. I noticed after being on it for 3 months that I was feeling depressed and becoming very angry all the time. My boyfriend and I had problems but I was like a crazy women and reacted violently at times. I also notice a lot of wetness and then it turned into a yeast infection. After the second yeast infection within a 4 month period, I stopped using the ring. I also stared to notice a huge change in my sex drive and often I would not even feel the desire to have sex at all. I wondered if the ring had anything to do with it, so I stopped for 2 months to see if I was just making this all up in my mind. After reading all the posts on this site I was finally convinced I was not crazy after all. I feel so much better now that I'm not on the ring and my boyfriend and I have a MUCH,MUCH better relationship!

She didn't mention side effects because not every woman gets them. However everything you have listed is a possible side effects of ANY hormonal birth control. It could have happened when you were on the pill too.

I have the same experience but with the pills...I think any hormonal medication is going to affect different people in different ways. Everyone says you have to use it for 3 months to get your body used to it. If you can hold out..try it for a couple months and if you still feel like this..switch to something else and just keep trying things til you find one that works for you. Thats what Im doing..Ive tried several forms now...they all have made me moody and tired as hell so Im still searching...it really sucks

I'm not sure, you might want to check with your doc. But I don't think it would make a difference, the ring only has to be in your vagina, not up against your cervix or fitted against it or anything. As long as your vaginal walls can absorb the hormones, it will work.
