Hi there, I get hypoglycemic and have been tested for it but it also feels like I get hyerglycemic (not tested though) sometimes too if I eat too much sugar or starchy foods and I hav eto just wait out the neasea and frequent urination until it goes away. I drink alot of water when I feel like that too.

If you have hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, does that mean you have diabetes 2 ?
From what I have read..it seems that you can not experience hypogylcemia when you have diabetes unless you are type 1 and have injected too much insulin. Is this true?

I started experiencing the frequent urination when I was a little girl plus hypoglycemia as well later.

First off, you should be totally avoiding sweets. Second off, increased urination could be a symptom of BOTH, but is usually found more in diabetes. It's impossible to have both conditions at the same time. Diabetics get hypoglycemia because of the insulin they take, not because their pancreas is overactive.

Thank you. I do aviod sweets all together. Actually all sugar except in fruit form, strawberries mainly right now I like and the occasional sour apple but only from my moms apple tree. I usually can not take apples. They are way to sweet for me.

See when I feel the high sugar feeling..what I think is high blood sugar, I feel no shaking just nausea, fatigue, and I usually try to exersize to bring it down but that is hard when you are nauseous and I can not do it for long but they are definatly very distict different feelings the lows and the highs. And that is ONLY brought on when I eat say startchy food a couple days in a row and maybe well last time ..3 red liqrices in a row. oh yuck..I don't know what I was thinking. Anyway so the high blood sugar feeling is totally controllable for me but the hypoglycemia I have problems with every morning. I have been eating 2 eggs in the morning with a few bites of rice cake and water. This morning I ate a bite of avacado since reading your posts.
then I need to eat less than 2 hours later exactly but thsi is the point I have trouble with..I have no idea what I can eat. An egg even seems to be too hard to handle. I try different things, cottage cheese, plain yogurt, sour cream.
I really need a meal though at that time. It works good if I basically use thattime for lunch except I can't handle anything so I just go up and down eating what I can painfully and by the time lunch arives I eat it and feellike I must sleep to get back to normal because my body has just exaughted itself all morning long. I don't know what I can eat for lunch either so thats another problem. After I sleep I start to get some tollerance in me and I can eat things better so by dinner time my choices are great.

What types of hypoglycemics are there? How long have you been hypoglycemic for?
I read you have a saw tooth curve. What does that mean?
thanks Stan, Vina
