I eat part raw part vegan. It's easier than you think. If you are a person that just loves fruits and veggies, especially greens(and no, i don't drink wheat grass juice, but i drink green smoothies) you can do it.
If the thought of drinking a green smoothie sounds horrifying to you(they taste fruity, not icky), or you can't handle a bowl of fruit or a salad for lunch, then raw probably won't be a good idea.
I used to think "hmm...raw foods..what is that? an apple and an orange on a plate?" lol It's actually some pretty incredible recipes, plus that raw apple or orange, or any other fruit and veggie you can think of.
I have a green smoothie every morning to start my day. If I don't have one, I start feeling draggy. I make my own raw soups which are much more tasty than canned stuff any day. I also do not add salt, but add herbs instead.
If you want to lose weight, you can lose massive amounts of weight eating this way.
Eating raw is not expensive..you buy fruits and veggies in season when they are cheapest. Invest in a good juicer and high speed blender. There are tons of raw recipes online, just do a search. Also books devoted to raw living.
Also, very important: If you decide to go totally raw, you will go through detox. You will feel really sick for a week or two, it's just your body's way of ridding yourself of toxins from all the chemicals and additives in the foods you used to eat, stored in there. Once past that, you will feel like a brand new person again. And have tons of energy.
