Q: Rashes From the Sun

I have not been diagnosed with lupus, but I do have rheumatoid arthritis. For the past 3 years, whenever I go out in the sun I get this light pink to dark pink rash with white bumps all over my skin, it itches a little but not a lot and it kinda feels numb. I was wondering if this could be related to lupus?

I'm not sure what you are asking. Are you asking if lupus patients get rashes going out in the sun, then yes, some of us do get rashes by going out in the sun. We also get headaches, stomach aches, etc.

If you think this may be happening to you, I would suggest having your rheumy run the appropriate tests! Smile
