I had all my wisdom teeth out and am getting invisalign? one side of my jaw has been giving me problems since I got my wisdom teeth out 2 weeks ago and now I am very afraid the invisalign is going to make things even worse. is there a type of doc just for TMJ?

yes there are several types of docs that treat tmd. however you may want to give yourself a good month before doing any more work to your mouth. If you fear that you have tmd you may want the doc treating the tmd to do the invisilign. many people that dont have tmd have trouble with their jaw after having wisdom teeth pulled. that is normal. if it doesnt go away that is where you should start wondering. if you need to find a good doctor for tmd let me know and i can get you a really good one. I know lots of them. if you do have tmd you should get the tmd taken care of before you do invisilign. thes are very similiar to braces and can cause tmd or make it worse.
