Ok, well as u remeber from my last appt. The doctor said I was measuring 3 weeks too big...Well he said he would check my fluids and the baby next appt. If I still was measuring off...Well I didnt get exactly what measuring fluids meant, but I looked online and saw that some reasons for measuring big are 1-large baby 2-twins 3-fibroid uterus 4-excess amniotic fluid

ok, 1 maybe true, 2 is def. Not, 3 what is a fibroid uterus? That just sounds scary...And 4 what would tey do if I did have alot of extra amniotic fluid? Would they remove some? Im getting worried now..Im such a worry wart--

I know someone else has that problem too. . I dont know what they do.. My doctor told me if that happens once and a great while something could be wrong (i dont know what) but dont worry too much im sure shes just fine! But I do believe if u have too much they withdraw some from you sometimes with a needle type thing. It differs doctor to doctor tho. Whens ur next appt? Goodluck hun!

Aw, jordan, try not to get too worked up over this b/c there is probably nothing wrong, or she's just a big ole girl!! Just kidding! But like I said, just calm down b/c your baby stresses when you are stressing.

Love ya,

megan

Jordan,
i couldn't not post to this after I read it...Im carrying excess amounts of amniotic fluid myself, hence the bloatedness...My dr said that that can mean there's something wrong with her, it can help bring on early labor, it can lead to a c-sec, but most of the time just means being uncomfortable for mom. I have a special u/s scheduled for the 9th up at u of penn hosp to check things out and have an amnio done(which im really freakin out about) to have some of the fluid removed so that it relieves all the pressure n bloating that ive been experiencing...Ive been worrying and stressing about it ever since I found out because what if somethings wrong with her, what happens then?? All im asking for is a healthy baby...But a few of the girls have reassured me that the u/s is simply to follow protocol and to take extra, probably unneeded, precautions just to make sure...Odds are, your baby girl is just fine. But definitely look into it and see what can be done to rule defects and abnormalities out. Best of luck.
