i know this is an old message but i was just browsing and thought i should reply to this message...I'm a competitive figure skater and it's so hard to stay in shape, i had a lot of problems when i was younger due to my weight and have never been happy with my body until this summer, when i turned to bullemia to get rid of my extra pounds. I lost almost 15 pounds in the space of 2 weeks and managed to keep my weight down until recently when i put on weight over christmas, now it's affecting my skating so i've gone back to old habits. Not that i wanted to but it's one of the only ways i've found that seems to help...This is definitely not just a female disease, there are always men in the public eye with the perfect body, the ripped abs and the tiny waist, and it's just as hard for us guys to stay in shape as it is for the girls!!
