Q: What Do Contractions Feel Like

I am 37 weeks with my 2nd child but did not experiance the true thing i was medicated from the begining. so I have been having sharp pressure pains for two days now are those contractions they are not spaced evenly apart For 1 hour Ill have them on and off then wait like 4 hours then they start up again

Especially eHealthy
They probably aren't real contractions especially since they aren't intensifying or becoming closer together.

Sounds like it could be early labor. If you are every concerned, you should contact your doctor's office or the maternity ward at the hospital where you'll deliver and explain to them exactly what you're feeling.

Contractions feel just like menstrual cramps in the begining. If you feel those cramps like when you have a period that's it. These cramps will keep progressing in intensity and be close together and you will know they are it because the pain intensifies to a level BEYOND YOUR IMAGINATION. You will be begging for drugs when you have them trust me.
