pregnant w/ small lump above belly button - skin problem?
Posted: 10-26-07 03:38am

My girlfriend is 16 weeks into her pregnancy and has a small lump above her belly button that is not sore but is slightly sensitive to the touch. It only portrudes slightly and is hard to spot unless you touch it but it is causing her some concern. What is this?

A qualified physician will need to see and examine the “slightly sensitive small lump” above your girlfriend’s belly button. Inspection is the major diagnostic tool used for diagnosing skin disorders. Your girlfriend can visit her GP or a dermatologist if necessary in order to get a diagnosis.
