What else besides turkey does everyone make?

We usually do..

turkey
stuffing (home made not that nasty out of the box crap)
candied yams
cranberries
green bean casserole
corn
rolls

we have trays of appetizers to get our family thru the day til dinner.. usually little smoked sausages, trays with carrots, celery, tomatoes, cheese, broccoli, and asparagus with a dip, and the typical chips/dip. Oh and a crackers with smoked sausage(the ones that comes in the big roll u cut up)/pepperoni/cheese.

dessert we always have pumpkin pie, cherry pie, and peach cobbler.

Oh I cant wait till Thanksgiving. Your list sounds pretty close to what my family does also...Include mashed potatoes(oh my mom makes gravy from the turkey juices, its so yummy!) or potato salad, and a fruit salad, we also usually have corn as well, pickles & olive tray..then dessert: pie, cookies, brownies..etc.

we go to my parents for thanksgiving.

we'll have turkey, mashed potatoes, homemade gravy, stuffing (i usually have stove top because my dad puts gross things like raisins and cranberries in his), cranberry sauce (blech), green bean casserole (my mom just started making this when nick came into the picture), some sort of vegetable, rolls.

dessert is usually apple pie and pumpkin pie. this year i've requested apple crisp.

We go to Shane's grandma's for all our holiday dinners. We have everything that you guys listed & his one aunt every year makes this strawberry stuff. It's like pieces of strawberries in strawberry cool whip, it's SO good!

We don't do baked turkey. Aaron's dad fries them instead! Very Happy We have mashed potatoes, lots and lots of gravy, rolls, these weird green bean wrapped in bacon thingies (no idea what they're called), corn, cranberry sauce, stuffing...

And Aaron's dad usually makes a super dessert. Last year he made this dessert that was to die for! He made a batch of brownies, cut them up into bite-sized chunks, then tossed them into some chocolate pudding along with marischino cherries and topped the whole thing off with cool whip. He also makes homemade banana pudding, "cake pudding", pies... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Damn it, now I'm hungry.

we go all out for the big holidays. for thanksgiving we have

turkey
stuffing
cornbread dressing
sweet potato casserole
candied yams
homemade mac n cheese
potato salad
green beans
green bean casserole
salad
mustard greens
mashed potatoes and gravy
pumpkin pie
sweet potato pie (I hate those kind of pies)
my mom would make a lemon meringue (I don't)
peach cobbler or apple pie
homemade clover rolls
homemade corn muffins

at christmas we have the same but we add ham and capon. the only holiday we do small is new years. we only have pork and sauerkraut then.
