Mmmmm...

We just had baked sweet potatoes tonight. We put brown sugar and butter on them...so they are no longer good for you, but they are good...

I don't really know what is in sweet potatoe pie. Do you mix it with something?

Make some muffin batter and mix that in with it! Then make muffins! Me and Nathan made some muffins with left over pumpkin pie filling and they were delicious.

You don't have to use up the filling tonight. You can use it for tomorrow.

I LOVE sweet potatoes. I'd eat them every day if my family would eat them too. Smile

The muffins are a good idea.

Have you ever tried to make your own pie crust?

Plus like Ingi said, you don't have to use it tonight. If you need a pie crust recipe let me know, I don't think they're too hard. I've never made one personally, but I've got a couple recipes in my box. I think they're mostly margarine and flour.

Mmmm. Yummy.

Yes, Sandy, sweet potatoes are just like yams. Actually, I like red garnet yams more than sweet potatoes. Their color is gorgeous! And they have less of a watered down flavor. JMHO. Smile
