Q: Birth Control & Fertility - Should I take the AM after pill?

My last period was i think of the 6th of oct.. I started taking my birth control on the 18th.. The doc said it should be okay. I just had a baby two months ago and am petrified of getting pregnant again.. But some sperm might have gotten around my vagina.. and i hear that you can get pregnant that way... I was just wondering if i should og get the morning after pill??
