Hi
I’m this is my first visit post to this forum and would really appreciate it if anybody could reply to me with any snippet of information/advise as I have been in pieces all day. Crying or Very sad
Earlier this year I was referred to the fertility clinic for investigation as I had had a number of miscarriages (last one in February 2007) after having had a healthy daughter two half years ago.
Today my husband and I went to the hospital for all our results. I was told that my HSG results showed I have blockages on both tubes. It was explained that there was a 40% chance that this could be because of tubal spasms during the procedure? I have been placed on a 6 months waiting list for a laparoscopy, to confirm either way. I am really confused as the consultant said that he doesn’t understand how I got pregnant in the first place to have the miscarriages? Has anybody experienced the same thing and it did just turn out to be spasms? Confused
I was in such a state of shock that I didn’t ask everything I should have at the time.

Please help!!

Many Thanks for ANY replies…….

I personally haven't heard of spasms causing an hsg to show blockages. Now, just because I haven't heard of it doesn't mean it isn't true. I really hope that the laprasocpy turns out well and that you end up pregnant soon.
