Just found out it doesn't cover TMJ. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way around this....I know with a Dr. what dx they circle depends on weather the insurance pays.
I have an appt. Friday morning and just need answers.
Thanks,
Martha

Unfortunately most insurance companies do not see TMJ as a medical problem, therefor they do not cover it.

Extremely eHealthy
the majority of insurance excludes tmd. i have pain well over $100,000 in the past couple of years. treatment is expensive but doctors will usually work out a plan that you can handle. or you could do what i did. save up and take it in to them little by little untill its paid and then start treatment.
