hi im 25 and currently taking loestrin 20 and have been for about a year, its the only pill that seems to work as others that i have taken have given me migranes so this was recommended as i think it was not as strong or something. anyway, for the last few months i have exacaly on the second week of taking the pill began my period even though i still have a further week or so to go i then finish for a week and once again have a period i dont understand why im having two periods as i could understand if it was a new pill or if i was taking it incorrectly but i know im not and also i have been taking it around a year and by now it should all be settled. i do at times only have one period which is when im still taking the pill.

I have had that problem too! At first they just switched my to a different BC but it got worse. So he took blood to test my hormone levels and stuff, then had an ultra sound to make sure the endometreo (sp?) and ovaries looked good. Everything looked good but we are still waiting for the test to come back. He thinks we just need to try another BC, once my tests are back he can determine which one. I'll let you know what happens. I would say call your dr and let them know what is going on. I totally understand I have migrains also that no matter what BC I'm on I have troubles, but I have learned to deal with them I've had them since like middle school. I hope you are doing better!

Yeah I'd check in with your gyno. That happened to me when I first started loestrin but it went away.

Got my tests back everything seems normal so they are switching me to a different kind to see what happens. So not much else I can tell you! Sorry! Try calling the Dr you never know it could be an easy fix!
