Q: High Triglyceride Correlation w/ Acne ?

High triglycerides run in my family. I'm male, 21, and the test I had a couple months ago put me at 386. My "good fat" is low, as is my cholesterol. I have mild-moderate acne, I get fordyce spots, and I get, what I believe, are mucoceles (clearish bump on bottom lip). I am curious if there are any links relating high-triglycerides to these other issues. It seems plausible to me that a higher blood-fat content would be related to these things (especially the acne and fordyce, since they are directly linked to sebum). I'm interested in hearing a medical opinion on the matter. Thank you.

Try Niacin (not slow release or extended release...instant only)
Looks like no medical opinions are being given on this.... look into niacin @ 1500mg/day ...it will shift your lipid profile to hihg HDL and low LDL as well as lower your triglycerides. Experiment and see if this helps your skin.
