Hello all,
I've read several pages and topics about pale pink discharge but most of them seem to link to pregnancy or UTIs so I haven't found anything too helpful.
Recently I've experienced this once or twice a month. It's just a tiny little bit, like very thin pink blood (no smell). It seems to happen within the week or two smack dab in the middle of the end and beginning of my menstrual cycles (although it's only been two months, so it could easily be a coincidence). I've not experienced any pain whatsoever, and I'm pretty sure that it isn't urinary tract or bladder related, as it appears to be coming from the vaginal opening.
I had a baby in February and am currently on the pill, which I started for the first time in April. I had issues with 2-3 week long periods, but was switched to a different brand by my doctor and it appears to be working wonderfully (periods come consistently to the hour every month). I was tested for sexually transmitted diseases right before my current partner came into my life. He hasn't been tested recently, although his most recent partner before I was tested during their relationship, and came out healthy.
About 2 weeks before we first engaged in sexual activity, he noticed a little bit of blood in his urine. This happened once, and then didn't reappear until we first had intercourse. Minutes afterward, he saw spots of blood again and went to the doctor immediately. The doctor said that everything looked just fine, and it may have been a small stone that cut the inside of his urine tract. Otherwise, he said he was in "Very good shape." and to come back if it happened again (it has not). Two or three weeks after that is the first time that I noticed the pink discharge. I wouldn't have even noticed if it were not for the white TP.
I haven't missed a pill in several months and I take them at the exact same time every night. I'm very sure that I'm not pregnant, and I may just be paranoid but it just doesn't seem quite right to me. If anyone believes it may be something abnormal, I'll definitely be going to the doctor ASAP... Honestly I'm just trying to avoid putting my feet up in the stirrups!
(Hope that this is in the right section)
