Q: Swollen Lymph Nodes In Armpits And Swollen Nipple

24 year old male, in good health.
About a week ago I noticed a swollen lymph node in my right armpit. It was there for a few days and went away. Around the time it went away a swollen lymphnode appeared in my left armpit. Now it was been about a week and I have three swollen in the left and one in the right. These are painful, but not excessively. I also noticed a slight pain in my left nipple, which also feels some what like it is swollen, but it is hard to tell.

Nothing out of the ordinary has happened. The only thing I can think of is that I recently put in a hot tub at my home about 3 weeks ago and I have been using it daily since. Could this be anyway related?

I am making an appointment to see a doc tomorrow.

Swollen Lymph Nodes And Nipple
You need to go see a breast doctor... I know most men feel uncomforable doing that. I worked in a breast clinic for 2 years and saw many men with that problem. Men get mammograms and ultrasounds. I would go to the doctor and get it checked out. Could be nothing... but something is causing your nodes to swell. Don't over look this problem... I hope all is well.

Swollen Lymph Node (armpit & Nipple)
Did you ever receive a diagnosis for this? I have had almost the exact same problem. First a swollen lymph node in my right armpit, then that disappeared and re-appeared in my left. 4-5 days later it was in my nipple, and now it is growing.

Thanks

Swollen lymph nodes can be nothing but it always a good policy to go check with a doctor. Better safe than sorry.

You should go see your doctor. We also got a new hot tub and got swollen armpits then nipples a couple of days later and went to the doctor and diagnosed with an infection similar to staph infection. It is from bacteria in the hot tub... make sure your hot tub is chlorinated correctly.
