Just received my blood work results from my lab and while my cholesterol results are somewhat borderline, my triglycerides level is around 25.

Some of the main factors of a low tri score is a low carb, low sugar diet, neither of which I am a stranger to. I eat fairly healthy but my intake of sugar and carbs is quite pronounced (desserts, cookies, breads, etc). My height is 5'8" @ 135 lbs. My wife cannot believe the amount of sweets that I ingest over the course of a week.

Regarding other health issues, there are none, to speak of. I think I have been ill once (one day) over the past decade. Is this a case of a system that is pretty efficient in burning all the calories ingested, with little if any storage of unburned calories?

I am quite physically and mentally active--pretty Type A when it comes to restlessness and not being able to sit still.

Any answers or speculation would be most welcome
