okay, so this is my problem

im 18..have had my period for about 6 years now. I had a boyfriend for 2 years, we didnt use protection, he always ejaculated in me, but nothing ever happened. In th beginning of may 2007, i got my period and it seemed pretty normal. Than i missed my period for 2 months and got it again July 9th, 07. This period was really weird. Super light to the point that if i wanted to wear a pad all day without changing it i could (i didnt tho!). It was brown, sometimes would go orangy, with a dark brown tint. That "period" lasted close to 4 months, ending around oct. 1, though there were 2-3 days here and there throughout those 4 months where there was no bleeding. I got a ultrasound and x ray, finding out i had acid reflux, though that had no affect on my period. Okay, so, i got my period again oct. 19, and it is extremely heavy with horrific cramps and lots of blood clots. Ive had these cramps from the first day of my period on oct 19, and its now the 23 and they haven't got any better, not even with Tylenol. The blood has been a bright neon red, and i have been having some terrible diarrhea. This morning when i woke up the blood was minimum in comparison to yesterday, but in the last 2 hours or so ive been experiencing some really painful cramps and a huge bloodclot thing just came out. please tell me if this is bad enough to take to the doctors asap(sorry its so graphic). Thanks in advanced

I'm not sure about the blood clot. I'd be a lot more worried about the fact that you had unprotected sex for two years and didn't get pregnant. And the fact that you are having such awful periods and bleeding that lasted four months. This is really concerning.

Go to a doctor asap!!

p.s. we don't allow graphic pictures on here, so I just took it out. Sorry.

I did for 4 yrs and never got pregnant but we had fertility issues. I would also be more concerned about bleeding for 4 months. That can cause you to become anemic. Also, endometriosis can cause horrible cramping. Nothing that tylenol would come close to helping. I would talk to my GYN if I were you....
