Hey i had a bacterial infection and a minor yeast infection. i went to the doctor and they gave me treatment for it i was supposed to take it for seven days. now it doesnt hurt as bad but sometimes i still get a small feeling as if its still there. does it take a while to be cured after you take the medication or should i go to the doctor again?

What did the doctor give you medicine for?

The medicine for a bacterial infection may cause a yeast infection. The medicine for a yeast infection will not cure a bacterial infection, and the medicine for a bacterial infection will not cure a yeast infection. So unless both were treated, you could still have one, or one may have caused the other.
