Hi guys, starting a few months ago, about once a week or so I started seeing what looked something like lightbugs, in my peripheral vision, they looked like they were just swarming around and if i tried to look directly at one it would dissapear, it is kind of hard to explain. lately i have seen them more frequently, usually about once a day and i saw a movie in health about schizophrenia and some of the things it said reminded me of what has been happening to me. if you guys could give me your input of whether this is a sign of schizophrenia or not i would be thankful, because im just a little bit concerned

well we can tell your impatient at least.

nobody will be able to diagnose you on the internet. you dont seem to be paranoid, hold any strange beliefs, having delusional thoughts, having hallucinations.. ect ect so i doubt your schizoprenic.

ever take LSD or any other hard psychedelic drugs? sounds more like you have slight symptoms of HPPD.

but in short to answer your question no i dont think you showing any signs of schizoprenia or anything related. nobody can really make a proper diagnosis on the net though due to lack of information.

You need to go to a doctor.

This could be caused by many things, including neurological conditions. Weird visual symptoms are a huge concern and you should go to a doc asap.
