i have posted this question on mens sexual health forums but did not recieve any good answers. i have had this lump above my left testicle for as long as i can remember. sometimes its small ans some times it swells up. throughout all the years i have experienced slight pain but only for seconds at each time so i never really paid attention to it. i should mention that my right testicle is bigger then my left one, but my left hangs lower them my right one. about 4 days ago i started experiencing pain in both of my testicles, more in my left one though. besides the pain, sometimes i feel like this pressure feeling, i cant reeally describe it but i feel something is going on, but i cant put my finger on it. my question to you is: do you think these are symptoms or testicular cancer? or is there something else that can be a factor. also since i had this for a very long time do you think that its too late for me to do somehting about it? im currently researching places where i can get a freee screening, but still no luck. im around new york are, can you tell me where i can get some free help? i have no medical insurance, and no money, and i really dont want to die.

Go to www.plannedparenthood.org. Then type your zip code into the thing at the top. You will find a list of planned parenthoods near you. Some of them offer men's health services, call them up and ask. Smile

The procedure for posting a doctor's question is different or I'd move it for you, I don't really know how. But I'll look into it.

Hey ao8,

Try to post to the testicular cancer forum, there is a very nice medical student that could help you there.

And by the way no one can post directly to the doctor forum, you have to wait to see the "Doctor online" button and click on it that's the only way. But I think they have a limited amount of questions that they accept daily after what the button becomes "Doctor offline".

Anyway just post in testicular cancer forum and you should get an answer quickly.

Hi Ao8!
Most lumps in the scrotum are not testicular cancer.
However, you should see GP for advice.
Pain and swelling of the testicles, together with nodules in testicles can be a sign for testicular cancer.
Do you feel pain in the lower abdomen, back, or groin areas?
Have you experienced swelling of the scrotum or sudden collection of fluid in your scrotum?
Do you have a pulling sensation or feeling of unusual heaviness in the scrotum?

There is a program called Family Health Plus, funded through the State of New York and administered through the Rockland County Health Department.
It's intended to help people of ages 19 to 64 with limited income, by providing a free health insurance.

Best wishes!
Marija
