Q: Light Rash After Sex On Testicles And Between Legs

I have been fighting on and off with a rash around my testicles and inner theigh. I have been putting prescription creams on the area. The area has not hurt in many weeks but still gets deep red and pinkish when the rash appears to be going away. I am in a relationship with girl. There seems to be a pattern. THe rash will seemingly begin to disappear but after we have intercourse the rash will begin to get more red the next morning. My girlfriend has shown no signs of having a yeast infection but has used monistat to treat it just in case. A couple of days after treating it I still got red again. What is happening? Am I having some sort of reaction to her vaginal secreations? I'm at a loss here, and very frustrated. I have spent so much money on doctor's appointments and creams that don't make the problem go away.

Did you have the rash before having sex? It's probably more due to your sweat during sex than anything else. You said you have prescriptions? So what did the doctors say?

We have been together for more than 2 1/2 years. This began happening about two months ago. It appeared to be a jock itch as first diagnosed. I treated it with a prescription and also followed every instruction to make sure I was not too sweaty down there. I went to a dermatologist and he said it was more like a yeast because it was on my testicles. Could my girlfriend have a yeast infection even after using monistat and having never showed any signs of it? Could there be anything else in her vaginal secreations that could cause this redness to appear?

Did your girlfriend actually bother going to a gynecologist? She needs to. Sometimes the store bought stuff isn't good enough. You and her both need to use condoms or abstain from sex for a few weeks until you are both cured, otherwise you will simply keep giving it back to each other.

I have similar rashes on and around mu panis
It started and later disappeared and I thought I was free from it but later after, just about two weeks later, they returned and this time, they meant business. I will really appreciate if someone can help advise me on what to do.
