Q: I Have a Question About How Long I Should "last"?

I am still a virgin, I haven't had sex yet and I am 19. I keep hearing different things about how long a man should last. When I "jerk off" when I go fast and non-stop, from the begining to the end it last about 50 sec to a 1 min, so I was wondering if I had pre-mature ejaculating. Then I heard other things like when you have sex you keep changing positions in order to last longer and things like that.

So with that said I mainly have to questions, first is that am I normal as far as how long I am lasting when I go fast non-stop while jerking off? My second question what's the average for a man to last if he "sticked it in" the girl's vagina and was going on a normal speed without stopping or changing positions or anything?

I don't think you're prematurely ejaculating. One minute is average for male masturbation. Sex will be a totally different experience! And as you said, it's one minute if you go as fast as you can.

dont think that you change positions in order to last long..... is the other way around. haha
you change, because you want, because is fun, because you enjoy different positions while having sex.
that could or could not help in lasting long.
but, by all mean, dont think that by changing positions you will last more. Why I make this point over and over, cause I think something important while your having sex, is NOT to be thinking in stuff like that. You need to relax, enjoy and make the other person enjoy! not more... good luck....
and masturbating and sex, are TWO different things.... both are soooo good lol.

1 minute is not average for a guy..

Oh? How do you know? I've talked to a lot of men online and offline, and they all state that a "quick rub off" is about 1-5 minutes. You do realise I'm talking about masturbation, not sex?

yes we both talkin about masterbation. and other people will agree with me here about the length of time it takes to orgasm.. definitely not one minute unless i didnt do it for a day or 2. IDK, thats just me tho. maybe im long..

well, I heard that most people last longer while having sex than masturbating, is that ture? i know it maybe different for everybody, but what is it for most people. I am confused because I think its true because when you have sex you move your body and not just your hand and may not go as fast. But on the other hand I think its not true because sex is the real deal. I am really concerned that I may be pre-maturely ejactluating.

I think on average most normal healthy people last longer during sex than during masturbation.

it varies from person to person..
but yeah... the average for a masturbation for a guy is about a minute... Many guys go much longer.. some guys can do it in 30 seconds.

sex can be really short too...you can do 5 minute quickies or last for an hour....
Some guys can finish in 3 minutes or less depending on how turned on they are and/or how sensitive their penis is.

It's true! One night my man can last... well, untill i make him get off me cause we've gone to long and its starting to hurt! Another night when hes really in the mood, wants to get it on, and has ben turned on for awhile.....can be 5 minutes. It all depends on so many things. Your first time having sex usually doesn't take that long cause of the anticipation. Like Sue says...some guys their first time can't even get their pants off before they blow. I mean it all depends! Is your gf a virgin? If she is she might want you to go slow (i made my boyfriend!) and that was both of our first times!! (which helped....). But if she is or isnt a virgin some girls like it slow...that could alter the time also! Anyways good luck. Smile

Not to take over this thread of anything and this might be a pointless question but do you think young girls (aged 16-17) consider all the above factors why some men (who havent had sex that many times) only last a few minutes due to how turned on they are..ex? this frustrates the sh** out of me.
