I haven't managed to do the mons pubis without horrid bumps, so I just trim it really short these days. Going with the grain helps to make it appear smooth, but if you rub against the grain you can still feel all that hair.

I also use my hubby's electric shaver. Just a nice short trim! I feel alot cleaner! He used to shave me himself but after 2 kids just don't have the time:) Thats okay now it gives me some time without anyone bugging me and I can shave to what is comfortable for me.
