Hair Down There...what..
Posted: 10-22-07 22:00pm

ok so i've always had pubic hair...this is NOT an exaggeration.
only before it wasn't like a foot long...
ok...THATS an exaggeration. haha
the longest it has gotten is like 3-4 inches.
i cut it because it bunched up in my panties and i had a bulge so it looked like a penis.
but anyway...it's pretty annoying, which is why i cut it...
but why do people shave it?
one time i cut it really short and i HATED it.
it itched sooo bad!
cuz the short prickly hairs were poking my skin.
so WHY do people shave it?
why why why ?!
do guys find it hot when there's nothing there?
or what?

Yes. Guys do find it hot. After the first few times it doesn't hurt or itch. There are creams to use on it too.

It feels AMAZING when you are hair free - except for a landing strip. I always shave.

The thin patch of hair you leave in the front.

ahh i wouldnt know obviously lol.
and about the thing you said about not itching after a while...
i doubt it.
my hair follicles are on crack.
they produce hair like no other.
take a break guys....seriously Razz
hair removal is frustrating for me.
i always feel like filing a claim against those products that say you'll be hair-free for a really long time...but then i figure its not their fault.
products that promise about 2 weeks of hairlessness give me about 3 days.
shaving gives me hours, not days.
and my pubic area appears to be even more fertile hair-wise than the rest of my body, so i'd probably not be hair-free very long.
i think if i ever saved enough money for laser hair removal i'd end up crying when it started growing back Sad

I'm with you there on the long hair. Mine is curly too so it doesn't look long unless I pull it out lol.

Instead of shaving it short, just trim it to about an inch or slightly less, THEN it won't itch Smile I use scissors, I swear! lol.

And as for guys finding hair hot, it's all personal preference. Some guys like it long and some guys don't.

Personally, I trim. I just feel cleaner that way; but again it's personal preference. I look very bulgy and weird in bathing suits.

I keep my lips clean shaven. It feels better to me. They feel like velvet with no hair.

yeah i cut it because it's annoying to have the bulge.
and also because all sorts of stuff gets in it and it's gross.
like on my period it cakes up and its sooo nasty.
but yeah i trim it to around an inch, any shorter is itchy and it pokes through my panties. well it does that anyway but it does it way more when it's short.
thats why i dont even like wearing bathing suits cuz i dont want people to see it.

I do too. The labia don't itch, AND you can get them totally smooth. You get itching issues with the pubic mons hair, and that's also where you get bumping issues and all that nastiness, so I just trim it really really short.

Ooh I've had the caked-in blood before... SO GROSS. I've had poo too. It's much more sanitary cut short! About an inch sounds good for you Smile

You could have it waxed. It hurts to have it done but only for a bit. Plus it stays super soft for near 3 months. I'd rather go have it waxed any day as to shave it. I wax everything, eyebrows, legs, arms, lip, and yes.......my who-ha. It's just less work in the long run.

hmm well waxing isnt really an option for me.
i've waxed my legs and i get more pain than results.
you've gotta understand....my hair follicles are on steroids lol
it grows fast, long, strong, and everywhere.
when i wax, each pull just kinda tugs at my hair rather than remove it.
so not only is my skin getting pulled, so is my hair.
and then when the hair finally tears out, i bleed.
and then just when im thinking all the pain was worth it because my legs are all silky smooth....the hair makes a comeback about three days later, not any thinner than it was when it left.
and this is on my legs....
i dont even wanna imagine what would happen to my poor defenceless pubic zone Shocked

plus i dont really want someone seeing my privates yanno..

Makes me think of that one sex in the city where they all got Brazilians... Carrie described it as "walking sex" or something.

It just makes your 'area' feel so open, so vulnerable, and look that way too.

I usually use an electric razor to trim but I leave hair there. I keep it just long enough that it's not pokey.

Why don't you go to the gyno?? How old are you? Are you sexually active? Everyone needs to go to the gyno!
