Q: Getting Off Birth Control

I was wondering I have been on Birth Control for 8 years and I decided to get off it on July on aug i missed my period but it came on mid month sept i had it for 2 weeks it stopped for 3 days and then i got it again and still have it is this normal?

you should call a nurse hotline and get their opinion. i resently went off bc pills as well but had the non hormonal iud inserted and period has been heavy ive had spotting just not the same. it may be your body trying to get use to no hormonal settings. it can take up to a year for bc pills and their side effects to go away!! Good luck

Yeah, it might take a couple months for your body to re-adjust.
