I am 17 years old i am a senior in high school, and i think i am pregnant but it might just be me playing tricks on myself. LIke i have tender breast and upset stomach and if thrown up once and like the thought of food repulses me when i think about it. and i feel kinda like cramping just not as bad. I would only be l ike a week and a half pregnant though. and the father if i am doesn't want anything to do with me... and he knows i might be.. what do i do ? how do i tell if i am or not? Confused

Take a pregnancy test. You can buy them at the store. The directions are on the test.

A week an a half pregnant? There is no such thing. Are you late for your period?

you tested to early and your not feeling anything differently because of pregnancy
your body is tricking you right now
it would be wayyy to early to feel ANYTHING related to pregnancy

wait til you miss your period and then test

Ok, you would not have any symptoms now. What you are experiencing IS NOT pregnancy related. Wait until you miss your period (like it says on the pregnancy test directions) before you take another pregnancy test, OK?

I doubt you are pregnant.

Why on earth are you having unprotected sex? Birth control is FREE. Go to planned parenthood and get some.

I guess my thought is this: if you have unprotected sex, you should expect to get pregnant. If you do not wish to become pregnant, DO NOT HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX.

The symptoms you are having are not pregnancy symptoms. They are fear based. You aren't pregnant. You need to get some birth control and some condoms, ok?

Good luck.

A little science lesson.

Women generally ovulate 14 day BEFORE their next period. If you had unprotected sex 1 1/2 weeks ago, you are very likely not pregnant.

It takes approximately 6 days for a fertilized egg to attach itself to the uterin wall. Your body would only then get an idea it was pregnant.

IF you have enough pregnancy hormones in your body to give you PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS, then you have enough pregnancy hormones in your body to trigger a POSITIVE pregnancy test.

Simple answer here is, you are not pregnant. What you are experiencing is not pregnancy symptoms but pms symptoms.

But please, take a test when your period is due.

good luck and just take a test
and my advice is that if the father wants nothing to do with you then your not ready to have his kid thats for sure

go get some birth control so if it happens again youll be protected
