hello,

Looking to try and desperately get some insight or guidance/help on a bizarre infection that my mother's twin sister is dealing with off and on for quite some time now. On the left side of her face, just above her jawline she has a dimpled in spot, gets hot to the touch, red and irritated and oozes pus from time to time. She has been to ent dr's, oral surgeons, had a debridement of it etc. and without insurance, she's reluctant to dig any deeper, it just seems nobody can figure this out. They originally thought it was an old tooth root, from when she had her teeth extracted for dentures. They got that out, infections return. Once thought it was a brown recluse spider bite. Antibiotics work for bringing the pus out and clearing it up for the time being, then returns. she's terribly underweight
and feels bad all the time. Fatigue.

If anyone has a clue what to do next or advice or knows anyone else with similar experience, please write back.
