For the past two weeks, my stomach has been acting weird. I have been constipated, feeling a little bloated, and have been having dirarrihea. I've been worrying about a few things, for about a few weeks (i had been worrying if I was pregnant) but I went to the doc last week and got a urine test which was negative. My grandfather passed away last week also. I know I am a worrier and I was wondering if this could be affecting my stomach? Or could this be ibs? Or just anxiety? Please help.

Ibs
I have been going through the same thing my stomach has been bloated for over a week and I can feel so much air it just wont come out, when I go to the bathroom I feel like im not going enough its driving me crazy, and ive also been worrying whether or not im pregnant, im a week late, I know nerves can have a huge effect on all this, I was diagnosed with ibs a year ago, but then I had a colnoscopy which said I was healthy, and was then told due to my back injury and nerve damage that was the cause of my problems, I reaaly dont know you should try to relax a little, when you get tense so does everything else making it difficult for a normal bowel movement etc, I know easier said than done I to am a huge worrier over the dumbest things and end up making my self sicker than I am, yes nerves can be your problem

Extremely eHealthy
I had a colonoscopy for my symptoms and when it came back fine, they told me I had ibs. I am pretty sure that ibs doesn't show up in those tests.
Angela1 - it could very well be ibs, but since you are under so much stress right now, it could just be temporary due to nerves. Try to relax and go with the flow. In a couple of weeks if you do not feel better, then I would go to the doctor. They have pills that help with it. I am sorry about your grandfather.
