Hello everyone,

Just had a question; when TMJ causes hearing loss, (well for me its temporary fluctuations of deafness loud piercing tinnitus and stuffy ears, ,as well as 30 other symptoms as listed in my other post) My question is, are these fluctuations temporary?? Usually after a very bad day, i get full recovery over the next few days if well rested etc. But when if the "fluctuation" doesn't restore, can you go deaf from TMJ?? and if so, will ur hearing restore after the muscle spasms stop / or TMJD is corrected?? (all my symptoms are caused by muscle spasms, and few other complications).

yes this is temporary---if you correct the tmd the spasms will go away. If you take away the cause you dont have the effect. the hearing problems etc will also go away.
