Wow, you've managed to keep it a secret all this time?

If you are deadset on adoption then when you tell your mum outline this. Explain why you were too scared or worried to tell her. It is harder the longer you leave it and at this stage there's probably only a matter of weeks left before you really do have to tell them. Ummm i don't know what to say really because i've never heard of anyone being able to keep it to themselves for this long. Find out about adoption agencies in your area and explain your plan to adopt to your parents perhaps? But most of all don't let them pressure you into keeping the baby if you don't want to or if you change your mind don't let them pressure you into adoption.

how does your boyfriend feel about this?

How old are you?

if you are 7/8 months pregnant now and have hid it from your parents have you atleast been going to the doctors/clinics?

If you are set on adoption, maybe when you explain it to your parents they will be relieved.

You cant hid it any much longer... you cant just turn around and have a baby next month and no one know.

You are only creating more trouble for yourself by hiding it. Mean or not yelling or not disapointed or not. You are now in a situation you cant just take back and your parents, scary to face or not: do love you unconditionally. and are most likely willing to help you in your time of need.

I would love to help you honestly making phone calls and everything with adoption. I am very good at research and contacting the correct people.

What is your boyfriends views on everything?

If she doesn't know what month she's in, it's more than likely she hasn't been to the doctor.

You need to be seen by a doctor immediately. It is not ok to deliver this baby without medical help - especially since you haven't been having your pregnancy monitored.

Go, right now, to a doctor. Or the emergency room and tell them you are pregnant, how far along you suspect yourself to be and that you have not told your parents or seen a doctor until this point. You are going to need some serious intervention on your part to fix this.

Good luck!

So did you see a doctor?
And why can't you look up information on adoption?
Go to planned parenthood or a crisis pregnancy center near you - they will have all the information you could possibly need regarding who to get in touch with about adoption and what your adoption options are at this point.

FIRST SEE A DOCTOR. You have no idea if you and this baby are healthy.

Can you feel/see it moving?

Sorry i was in a hurry before when i was on here last
I have seen a doctor the baby is healthy luckly
I have found and gotten information on adoption, but it helps when having someone else look because they may be able to find someone that i couldnt because really i am not good at looking up things. Im tryn to find adoption agencies, that help with expensies, because that is a big problum right now. BUt im just tryn to learn as much as i can at this point.
and i did notice people were asking how i manged to hide it so long from my mom, well i really dont stay at home much, because of alot problums, and because of 'some'problums my mom just pay atension all that much.

I think kids underestimate how much their parents love them sometimes. Your mom will be relieved when you tell her what's wrong. She's probably been worried sick about you anyway.

Since you are giving the baby up for adoption your mom has no reason to be mad at you. You are not placing any type of burden on her, like expecting her to take care of another kid or anything.

There are crisis pregnancy centers all over the US. Look in your phone book. They would be more than happy to help you.

Also... adoption is generally one of those things where your medical expenses get paid. Sometimes living expenses, but not always. That would be a private adoption thing.

Grab a phone book and look up adoption in the yellow pages. I am sure the people who answer the phone are used to talking to very frightened young girls, so they will be very nice.

Almost half of all girls get pregnant before they turn 20. You are not alone.

Over forty percent of adolescents will become pregnant before reaching age twenty(41 percent of whites and 63 percent of nonwhites). By age 18, one in four young women(24 percent) will have a pregnancy. [3]

I was shocked to hear this; I never knew that young pregnancies were that common! That is very comforting for those who are pregnant to know that they are definitely not alone.

I was shocked to find that out, too. I find it to be tragic, though. The other statistics that go along with that aren't very good, like how many teens are poor because of it, have to go on welfare, how many have their children taken away and put into foster care, how many teens never finish school, on and on and on.

I though you were putting it up for adoption? Did you look in the phone book under adoption yet, and call one of them?
