Bbyblu,
anorexia along with any kind of eating disorder are diseases of the mind, not the body. So to pinpoint a time frame in which an anorexic can lose weight is merely based upon each individual. I too am questioning why you would be asking a question like this. Starving yourself, restricting your food and cal intake and purging are not healthy ways of losing weight. It becomes a lifestyle...One that's extremely hard to break once you fall victim. You lose all control. Your body starts to detiriorate and sooner or later your hair will begin to fall out. I know you're young, and I know bald spots aren't very stylish these days, nor will they ever be. When people think "anorexic" they think thin, when they should really be thinking, sudden death, arrythmia, delayed gastric bypass(yes major constipation), frail and brittle nails, osteoporosis, anemia, pale skin tone no matter how much sunlight you take in...Doesnt sound too glamorous does it? If you're constantly worrying or getting frustrated about ur weight I would go talk with someone. Catch it before it gets out of control. I can help, if you want me to. Pm me if you need to talk.
Take care of yourself,
vanessa
