Ok so I think that I may have an ulcer, but my hospital at home can not do the tests needed to see if I have one or not, so they just ruled out cancer with some tests. I have constant stomach pain that worsens when I eat, followed by massive bloating. I could eat an apple or a potato chip and my stomach will swell up like I just a cow. I used to be bulimic, but haven't been since the middle to end of May. I feel this may be a partial cause. I was also anorexic before that for about 6 months straight. I have also recently noticed that my stool is really inconsistent. At times I have "rabbit poop" with little pellets and other times I have real loose stool. When it is pellets it is usually a dark color and when it is loose its really pale, sometimes green and sometimes like a gray color. I have also noticed a lot of vaginal discharge during and after a bowel movement. I am sexually active so I do not know if that matters or not... I am also an 18 year old college student. I play softball as well...so this is not a very convenient thing. I am on medicine...currently Ranitidine. I have to wait 3 weeks before I can come home and see a doctor so I would love to have some feed back on what is going on with my body! Thanks

Cara

I had most of those symptoms for a while. Turned out my intestines were all filled witgh stool and I needed an enema to get things going. It sucked but the awful pain every single day was much worse.

reply ot: so I think I have an ulcer
I had your symptoms and it turned out to be an intestinal obstruction. I also had constipation problems. Eating anything bloated my stomach and caused enormous pain. I even started throwing up dark brown (bile?) vomit. It was so afwul I finally went to the emergency room. I threw up there and it was dark green. Seems if you vomit and it is those two colors, you have a problem. I was put in hospital and couldn't eat OR drink for 5 days while they waited to see if it would "unkink" by itself. Luckily, it did or it would have required surgery. I would aggree with prior post on my problem being what I would term "impacted" but with a different result. But if you are 18, you are hopefully too young to be having this problem.

whoa
you sound exactly like me! I was anorexic for a couple years & have been in recovery for the last couple years & was also bulimic most recently. I have severe pain & bloating in my abdomen & only have 1 or 2 bms a week or less. My bms are also always bloody with mucus. I am pretty certain these problems are all related to my ED since they first started after a week of seriously abusing laxatives after being forced to gain weight for recovery. it sucks, sometimes i wish i could go back to when i was anorexic & didn't have to worry about my bms since i didn't have any. This bloating/pain is far worse than any hunger pains I ever experienced when i wasn't eating. sorry but it's true. ED has ruined my life : (
