This morning I noticed that I was lactating out of both of my nipples. I had my period this week and I took a preg test two weeks ago and it was negative. By fiance and I use birth control and condoms when we make love. What are the chances that I could be pregnant? Does lactation occur when people are not pregnant? I do not feel anything when it happens and I have not gained any weight. When during a normal pregnancy does lactation occur?

Even in pregnancy it happens when you are pretty far along. I think I was about 5 months the first time. Do you have children? Sometimes it takes awhile to stop after birth. I think it was about a yr before I stopped the first time, and I had quit pumping about 3 to 4 months. I still tend to leak and my "babies" are almost 5 months now. You probably need to see your GYN.
