you are actually suppose to take bc pills for one month before the effectiveness kicks in!! have you taken atleast one month of pills first if not, you might want to call your dr!! good luck

Dont Want to Scare You
I think you should go to your DR. I have been stricktly told that you MUST be on the pills one month using back up methods for the first month. You should go asap if you are pregnant you shouldn't continue with the pills, Having the iud removed reverses the affects the same day meaning you are fertile. Since you have had some symptoms when was your last period usually 10-14days after your period is usually when your fertile.

Yes
If you are past your period due date it should, but you have been taking the pills which make things a little weird. Try taking one at home and see what happens. I always say you know in your gut the true answer!! GOOD LUCK let me know im here to help

This is wrong, and please don't type in all caps.

For most types of birth control, you only have to take them for a week to be effective.

However, you might want to call your doc because I'm not sure how the paraguard affected it. You might have been protected. If it was right after your period you might be ok. You can test a few weeks after you had sex, and you can always call your doctor to ask about the timing between the birth control.

For most types of birth control, if you start one the day you stopped the other, you are fine. I'm just not sure about the paraguard.
