Hi everybody,
I'm so glad I found you all here kinda makes me feel not so alone!!!!
Have been doing the medic go round for many years now possible diagnosis went from lupus to ms to lupus to ms to motor neurone disease to ms now finally it is official as I have tested positive for ANA, ESR, Anaemia, also past history of low positive antiphospholipid antibody and thrombocytopaenia plus more symptoms then you could poke a stick at, including 6 miscarriages!
It came at a time when I had stopped looking for answers but was referred to a immunologist/allergist for allergy testing. He looked at my history and started asking questions which were lupus related and I was just like "been through all this before" and didn't want to discuss it at all!!!
sent me for a stack of blood tests and bingo!!!
Initial reaction was blase "oh yeah, not surprised" then next day total shock, yesterday so depressed and today just numb.
I am a single mum of seven ranging from 25 down to 2 so have a busy life to say the least. I am anti meds and refused it first day but by next day called him to say I want to try it (plaqunel) but he hasn't called back yet!!!
My faith in God has kept me this far and will continue to be my rock!!!
Keep brave and strong.
Kaz
