Hey girls!
Yesterday, I had another (lol) reality hit when I noticed my bra was a lil damp and then I didnt know if I was leaking so I squeezed (tmi lol!) and a bit of white came out.. Is that normal that white came out a lil bit? I gotta run uptown and buy some nursing pads but I was wondering, do I wear em everyday? How long do I wear em for?? I'm clueless on these sorts of things lol! Embarassed

Lol your gonna leak for a while! You should get breast pads and put them in your bra and keep them there for a loooonnnng time. Unless you want wet shirts! Lol its normal though. Jeni had once said to just get a maxi pad and cut it on half and stick it in your bra! Cheap and easy! Lol

Shauna, I started "leaking" during my 5th month.. I didnt have a lot of money so instead of buying nursing pads, since you shouldnt leak that bad, I just folded like 5 squares of toliet paper, meaning 5 "sheets" of toilet paper, and placed it in my bra. I would change it if it needed it when I went to the bathroom, you wioll be able to tell because the toilet paper will harden. However, after you have the baby you will need to buy nursing pads, I bought 3 boxes, and trust me you will use them. After a baby if you dont breastfeed you leak so much, and you boobies are so swollen, I had to change my breastpads about every 2 hours. But just to be on the safe side so you arent embarrassed like I was before you are getting ready to go out, like shopping or something change it!!

Haha, whats funny is my sister bought like 2 boxes of breast pads and then after her first week of having hope, she went dry. No milk or anything. It was funny. We said she had a dry spell.

It wasnt leaking white, actually it was just clear but when I squeezed it, a white dot came out (i didnt look hard enough to see if it was more yellow cuz I was freaked out) but thats basically it. I dont know if ive been leaking for awhile but yesterday, it was right after I had sex, could that have done anything to like, make it leak or anything? I dont think ive had any leakage today and it was just my one breats... Haha sounds weird I know but thats what happened to me lol!

Shauna

p.S. I bought some of those johnsons super absorbency nursing pads today (not sure if I got the right ones??) but hopefully they're good enough lol!
