Alright well, I lost my medicaid card and license yes I have medicaid anyway I have to go get a copy of them from my ghetto dental office who has made a copy of them becuase on wednesday is when I was there and they made a copy and its the last time I seen my stuff. I think they didnt give it back to me and they are telling me they dont have it. Anyway, I am also going to nit . Its a vocational schools with a few programs that they can teach you in like 6-7 months. I go to meet with a counselor. I am gonna go for medical assisting. I was going to school for nursing but thats gonna take too long and with my baby here soon, I want to have a solid job. I am sick of reading my newspaper for jobs and right now I am working at babies r us for 7 bucks an hour . It sucks bigtime. I asked them to switch me to the baby registry department cuz they have all of the other preggy women there and they told me no. I was pis s e d! I dont think the manager likes me very much lol, she dont me I dont smile enough at the customers. Whatever Rolling Eyes and I am going to apply for wic on friday. Does anyone know the kinds of things they will ask me and what not? I just wanna be prepared. Ends arent meeting right now and I really need this. Thanks and sorry to blab for so long. ~ erica.

Wic they will ask you for your most recent pay stubs (two most recent), they will ask you about how much you eat, what you eat, theyll ask about family situations, bills, if you have everything, umm what other assistance you are signed up for... They will ask for all kinds of things.. Some visits you will get weighed. Ohh and they will make you pee in a cup so that the state is sure that you are in deed pregnant!!

I was planning on going to the tech (a vocational school) and you can become an lpn, I dont really know what it means but it is in between a certified nursing assistant, and registered nurse. My mom is an rn and she was telling me that lpn's dont get stuck with changin bed pans and stuff, but dont have to give shots and can have the rn do it (i cant stand needles, there is no way im gonna be able to poke someone and draw their blood or something) I guess they can get paid up to like $20 an hour and you only gotta go to school for about 9 months... Hey I think $20 an hour is worth nine months of schooling! And you will always have a job cause they are sooo desperate for nurses!

Lpn stands for licensed (spelling) practical nurse. I am gonna go to finish at a university to be a nurse some day but right now I am only gonna go for this medical assisting since it is quick. It takes 8 months and I start april 19th. ~ erica.

All kinds of crap, and u'll leave with a bunch of pamphlets and papers! Then go straight to the grocery store and get some food...Have u tried to apply for food stamps? I want those!
