I masterbate a lot. Maybe like once a day or twice. I'm only a teenager and I just wanted to know if I continue to masterbate, can I still make babies? I want to have kids when I'm older but I want to continue to masterbate. Will masterbation affect my dream of having kids? Please help me!!!

Mastrubation is healthy and normal. It won't hurt you. It won't make you go blind. It won't make hair grow on your palms. It won't make you a pervert.

Masturbation feels great and is 100% alright. Smile Have fun!

Masturbation is normal. It will NOT cause you problems later on.

Masturbation will absolutely NOT affect fertility. Where do people get these ideas!? Keep on making yourself feel good: it's 100% natural, safe, and makes you happy! Plus it will help you when you some day become sexually active. Knowing what makes you feel good will help you tell your partner what to do!

You can masterbate 20 times a day and it wouldn't matter. You can definitely have kids if you materbate. It's safe and normal and it gives you pleasure. Masterbate as much as you like!

Masterbation
OKay like, i read that masterbation wont effect fertility in the female, but what about the male? if a male masterbates once a day, can this quick, increase in blood flow to the penis and increased heart rate damage his heart? and will the masterbation overuse hes testicals making it less likely to have children? Many men are not capable of having kids, could this be the reason why? Someone please help!!

Hognet: A girl masturbating doesn't make you a lesbian. Wanting to have relationships and sex with women does.

Countryboyaj: Over masturbation or even having sex too often can lower the sperm count *temporarily*. The body needs time to make more sperm and get up a large enough supply to give them the best chance to impregnate a woman, even though it only takes one. But it only takes a week or two to get the supply back up (I'm not sure on the exact time, but it's not long).

It won't damage his heart or decrease blood flow. It actually increases immune function, decreases stress, and teaches control for the "real thing." Unless masturbation is getting in the way of you wanting to do other things in your life, like study, go out with friends, go out with girls, etc, don't worry about it. It's totally fine.

Less people are having children today for all kinds of reasons. They are waiting longer to have kids than people used to, for one thing. People are not going to be as fertile in their 40s as their 20s. That's only one factor.

Myrahu great stuff. For your future advice it takes a healthy adult male about 20 hours to produce as much sperm as he's going to be able to ejaculate in one orgasm. After that time, the sperm a man is creating is only replacing sperm that is dying out in his prostate. If a man is trying to conceive he should abstain from orgasm for about 24 hours before attemtping to impregnate his wife.

CountryboyAJ
I realize just about everything to do with sex seems like something you do but nobody else does. However, Masturbation is something more men do, all around the world, than any other activity. More than drinking alcohol, playing sports, using a computer, swearing, having a job or worshipping a God. And most of them do it as much if not more than you do. If it was a threat to health men would be dying off around age 14. If it was a problem for fertility there just wouldn't be any babies at all. Trust that your body will tell you how much you need to masturbate, don't allow it to interfere with your friends and relationships, don't be stupid about masturbating if your sick or injured and you will be better off than the millions of men that have an unhealthy relationship with Masturbation and still live long healthy lives and lots of children.

Hognet.

I do not suggest any girl or woman declare themselves a lesbian until you have experimented with a few men. The reason I say a few men is it will take a while for you to get to know your body and what you like. The first couple of times you have sex unfortunately may not be that great but eventally when learning your body should be wonderful.

Do you recommend no woman declare themselves straight without experimenting with a few women as well?

Hey wildthang416
I have to admit that I've not done a lot of reading on women's fertility per masturbation. There is a lot less medical interrest and I believe it is because there is much more seperation between sex and reproduction in women. Masturbation in women has very little impact on the womb and ovaries. It can elevate certain hormones but not to the point of affecting conception or fertility cycle. You would have to be using really terrifyingly big toys to manage to cause structural damage that would affect birthing or conception. Really the only connection I've heard concerning masturbation and female fertility is that Masturbation can cause increased interrest in sex in some womebn and therefore increased chance of conception.
