Hi, am am 17 almost 18 and my husband and I didn't know I was ovulating. We had sex on Sunday oct. 14 and I took an ovulation test on Monday after we done had sex twice that day and found out I was O. My last period was sep. 29. I took another ovulation test Yesterday and Today. It still says I am O. How long does ovulation last and is there a chance I will get pregnant? Oh... and I know you don't ovulate while pregnant but is there a chance an ovulation test can pick up the HCG??

please let me know!!

The same people post on the same boards. This question will get moved from here, as it is more appropriate on the Getting Pregnant board.

An ovulation detector can not pick up HCG. That isn't what it is intended for. You need to take a pregnancy test for that.

It takes the average, healthy couple 1 year to conceive. You have the same chance as any one to get pregnant this month. Wait until your period is due or late before testing for pregnancy.

Good luck.
