Whoa Yes!
Any medication will start to loose it's chemical balance after a year. The chemical componients in them start to break down and seperate or dissapear altoghter. 2006 is way to far back to even consider taking them as it is getting close to two years old now. Better not chance it. Anyway you can call your doctor. Did the doc take you off of them or did you go off youself?

I went off myself.. I didn't do it cold turkey though// I went from taking 4 a day.. to 3.. to 2.. to 1.. then just stopped...big mistake. I haven't had any withdrawls.. but my anxiety is worse then ever. I'm getting back to taking them and there putting me on a regular dose everyday.

Good to Hear
I am glad you had the sense to wheen yourself down. I know before they put me on Klonopin, I was on 2mg of Xanax three times a day. This one week I could not afford them and did without for three days. I never want to go through that again. I thought I was dying. Man, I drove up to Sam's Club and told the pharmasist I was going through withdrawl and took 2mg right out in the parking lot with a bottle of water. I knew not to fool around with them anymore.
Yeah, I hear ya when you say going back on a regular dose everyday. I think we think we are going to be fine so we stop. Just to come to the reality that we can't do it.
