Hi,
I'm new here and hoping there's someone out there who can answer my question... After a long wait, I managed to conceive my first using 50mg of clomid(first round). Everything was really straight forward. we are now trying for #2 and I started clomid again on CD 5-9. I am now on CD 24 and since CD 18 I have had the tiniest bit of spotting( I mean tiny) but it has been there consistently. Basically, I am too impatient and want to know if this is at all normal or if this month is going to be a write off. Also, does this mean that I should be taking a higher dose next month? Does anyone know? Thanks!

My guess is that you would need a higher dose. That's what I've typically seen with the spotting. Your ovulation may have not been a strong enough one to consequently produce an adequate amount of progesterone. Please consult with your doctor.
