Q: I Think I Might Be Pregnant - wacky period cramps

Alright well, I'm 18 (turned 09/26).

Had sex on the 5th, condom broke and fully leaked into me. Embarassed
Not good. My last period was Septemeber 17th. My cycle is around 29-30 days. I am not on birthcontrol and haven't been since Sept 06.

It was my fertile week. My temperature was up (normally, even during the day I vary from 97.4-97.6) to around 98.3-8 and such.

Well, its the 17th, still no signs of a period. Although last week I was having mild period cramps off and on, and random spells of light nausea. Now I'm having more of those pains. They come, and they go. Then I get dull aches. Its highly annoying. I keep thinking my period is going to start, then the pains stop. NEVER has happened before. I get cramps and they gradually increase and I begin bleeding. These cramps have been so wacky. Also, my leg suddenly gets little cramps here and there. Also my body feels VERY warm all over, something a bit different. I seriously feel like I can fry eggs on my face.

So strange. I think I might test Thursday morning.

Did any of you ladies have the wacky period cramps like this?

Thanks. =).

You just got off birth control and that can cause your body to do weird period related things.

Your cramps could be related to your period coming. Take a pregnancy test, it is the only way you'll know for sure.

Hey guys, sorry about delaying in updating.

The 17th, I began spotting brown which is unusal but I figured it was my period starting so I was like "YAY!" ... but it didn't pick up. But there was some pink too. A lot of stuff showed when I wiped myself. It was rather gross. But yeah. The next day, didn't pick up much but there was more reddish stuff, got slightly heavier but not much. I'm still using panty liners, took the whole day just to fill half of it, then it slowed down to pinkish brown discharge and finally stopped. I'm still having cramps and headaches -- highly annoying. I did a preg test on the 17th AM but it was neg of course. I assume I just recently had what they call implantion bleeding which can occur around the time of your expected period SO... I'll be testing next week sometime. Probably Saturday.

it would be too late for that

False, I did research on implantation bleeding. It can occur around the time your expecting your period. Many women often mistake it as a mild period -- not implantation. But it can usually occur a week before your expected period, too. Just depends on your body, time, etc.

ummm

no

Implantation bleeding is vaginal discharge which usually contains a small amount of pinkish or brownish blood. Only about a third of pregnant women experience implantation bleeding.
It can happen at the time the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, on average between 6 to 12 days past ovulation

she is way past due for her period. so therfor it WOULD NOT be implantation bleding

Actually Suzy there is a possibility that it could be implantation bleeding. My obgyn told me that sometimes the the uterus won't expel the blood right at the time of implantation. It may actually happen a little while later. Because I had spotting at 6 wks and they thought that that could be why.

yes its possible to get pregnant and bleed but it wouldnt be your actual period
some women bleed through there entire pregnancy. howevere it doesnt happen alot and so if youre haveing a regular period or bleeding then your most likely NOT pregnant

shanyan i forgot it might just be old blood thats been sitting in thereb for a while
i guess you have a point
