Q: Neck Tingling

In the last couple months I have been having these periods where a strip on the left side of the back of my neck starts tingling. It feels like I had put some sort of deep heating rub on it--not intense, however. It goes away after a short while, but I can't figure out what causes it, and it happens almost once daily now. Anybody know? Question

shoulder and neck tingling
when seated in cetain positions, I can feel my neck and shoulder start to tingle. No pain, but the tingling is intense. It fades after about 1 minute. I do not take any medication usually but took ibruprofen but to no effect. I have also tried lavender and rosemary in almond oil, as a rub. no use either.I had a very bad fall some three and a half years ago, in which my left arm was thrown forward, as I was carrying heavy shopping. my doctor advised moving normally, and after 1 month, it was fine, having been abroad, and got some sun, which healed the problem quickly.
