Have ne of you tried the mederma cream for stretch marks and scars? I am getting them on my butt, thighs, and breasts and they look so ugly!!! Where have you gotten them, and what'd you do to get rid of them? Also have you guys started to get cellulite during pregnancy? My legs and butt are looking all lumpy and nasty!!! Sorry if this is too much info, but I need ideas to get rid of this crap. I still havnt had my baby, I got 8 weeks left, but I want to get rid of them now!!! So please help me out with ideas. I am using palmers lotion for s.M., vitamin e, and a cocoa butter stick, but it doesnt seems to be helping.

My grandma works in a gyne office, and I went there for an appt. I asked about mederma and he said that he doesnt recommend it, that it doesnt work well. I use palmers everyday and they are ligtening slowly but surely. Just look at it this way, stretch marks are the results of a beauty. They will heel over time. Oh and I tan once a week and that helps!!

I dont think anything will get rid of streach marks. The best thing you can do is gain weight gradually. The rest is heredity!

I thought I was in the clear and people commented on how lucky I was to have no stretchmarks on my belly. Then I reached 37 weeks and was devastated to discover a whole load of them appear on both sides of my belly, my belly button and my hips. I've always used Palmer's Cocoa Butter as a body moisturiser even before pregnancy and even more when we started trying and throughout my pregnancy. My Sister had no stretch marks with pregnancy number 1. I'm so upset since I've always taken care of my skin and I haven't put on more than 2 stones in weight which is the right amount for my BMI ( I am a UK size 8 normally (size 4 US). So creams are superficial. God knows why some have none an others do. It's a mystery to me!
