I kind of regret telling him some of the things I told him because I do not tell anyone anything for the most part. I told him how I used to hear whispering in my ears when I was in middle school and how I would feel people blow air a million times in my ear. Told him about my paranoia and how I locked myself in my room for weeks, months, years... and now I regret it. Told him about the person that I saw sitting at my kitchen bar and the person that I saw walking in my hallway. I don't want to be mentally ill. I just want to live a normal life like everyone else. Are there natural alternatives for this? I do not want anyone else to know about this.

Good thing that I didn't tell him that I used to think that I was going to be the last prophet and I would lead the people into a safe place. And how I thought that I could talk to birds; lol. I'll keep that to myself Smile

Whether you're sick or not does not depend on the doctor. It is not him that will make you sick or not. The question is whether you can successfully live with your symptoms or do you need help?

How old are you?

I agree. The doctor is not the one who decides you are ill, the doctor simply helps you to deal with and treat it. It sounds like your case is pretty mild, as in, you are still managing to live you life ok.

Try doing some reading up on schizophrenia and learn about it. There are treatments, and if you start being treated now you have a better chance of maintaining your ability to live your life, you know what I mean?

There are not any natural remedies that I know of. It's definitely a brain disease, and should be treated as such. Don't feel bad about it, it's not something you caused or can control- but you can control getting help and not letting it get worse.

I wish you the best-
