Q: I Started Yaz In Late September.... Period Question

My period was a few days before I started. I took the pill when the doctor told me to. I have not missed a pill. I had sex once with a condom. I did not have unprotected sex, but he inserted it for about 5 or 6 seconds 2 times in the first or second week of my yaz. He did not get "excited," but I was playing with him. I have yet to hit my period and tonight I start my 3rd white pill.

Is this the yaz making me miss, am I being impatient, or should I get tested in a few days?

Thanks for the help. I am very paranoid and nervous right now.

As long as you didn't have unprotected sex during your first week on the pills, then you are as safe as the pills can make you Smile

Yaz does cause missed periods (I think). I know on Ortho-lo I didn't start my period until day 3 of the placebos on a 7-day placebo week.

We didnt have sex, but he did stick it in 2 or 3 times. But he never came in me...

I am just very nervous.

Am I likely to have an off period because I always have a weird period and this is my first Birth Control every.

You started the pill right after your period? Like, how soon in relation to the first day of your last period? Technically if his penis was inside you, even if he didn't ejaculate, you can still get pregnant. BUT if you started the pill right around the time of your period, you should be fine.

You are likely to have an off period because of the new birth control.

I know about pre-cum...

I started very soon after my period, if not right after, the doctor told me to a day to start...

I know it was dumb but you know how sexual drive can make you make bad choices.

If it does not come by Thursday, the day I start a new pack, I am gonna get tested.

I hope it is just my cycle adjusting. PLEASE! (nervous wreck) Could being nervous affect my period as well?

Yes being nervous could affect your period! Deep breaths, girl.

Either way, your chances are really low because you started the pill soon after your period and he didn't ejaculate in you. So don't worry so much, and chill until your period comes. Like I said, it might be weird these first couple months.

I've been there. I've taken more unnecessary pregnancy tests than you could count...

BTW- when I say you're chances are low, I mean really low.... I'm sure you'll be fine.
